The Big Pink are an indie band from West London formed by two life-long friends, Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell. The band were signed to 4AD at a time when the label was considered the biggest independent label in the world residing within the Beggars Banquet Group alongside XL Recordings.
They released their tantalising debut album, ‘A Brief History of Time’, to an outpouring of critical acclaim and overnight global stardom performing at Glastonbury, Reading, Jools Holland and supporting acts such as Muse.
After a hiatus and a shake up of the band personnel, Robbie Furze returns with the original drummer Akiko ‘Keex’ Matsuura and the model/artist Charlie Barker (bass) with the album, ‘The Love That’s Ours’, alongside producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, Supergrass, The Kooks, Turin Breaks).
